It's a claim management company trying to bully you into claiming compensation. Despite being told to piss off they keep ringing back.
Internet claiming to be from BT open reach telling me I have an issue with my internet. Had a very strong accent, so I apologised and said I couldnt understand her very well so I would call BT immediately to find out what the issue was. She didnt have any response to this, will note as annoying as no idea if it would have been a dangerous scam had I not hung up, but as she was telling me to check my router then come back & they would 'fix it' I would assume this is where it was heading!!!
Missed calls, if you call back, it says, sorry all lines are unavailable, might be busy or out of office hours... once I did answer, someone knew my name, said it was Jason calling from …. then hung up

Apparently from BT advising there were "irregurlarities" on my network and that they would disconnect me unless I pressed "1" for instructions. Almost certainly a scam so I declined the invitation.

SCAM FRAUD. I got a call from a 07 mobile number prior to this call. Both of them is an automated message saying a letter from HRM Revenue was sent to you but was returned. Legal action will be taken against you, press 1 to bla bla bla. I didn’t even bother to listen to the rest because there is no reason for HRM Revenue to contact me. I ve received about 8 calls from this number in the last week. When I answer, I can hear what sounds like Call Centre noise, but no person talking to me. After a few seconds they hang up. SCAM - clearly someone trying to get info about bank details. Rang pretending to be from my bank - starts with an automated message stating a large amount of money has been requested from account & if not authorised, press 1.
