I have been receiving several calls a week from this number to my mobile phone, home number and office number. They either say they are from "Trading Banks" or a market research company in Taiwan. Either way, you know it s a scam. I like to have fun with them. They have all been Filipino until today where the caller was of African descent. Had a call from this number this morning. Man said his name was Mike. Yeah, right. Sounded very Peter Sellers. So whilst he s telling what to type, so he can access my computer, I went to Youtube and found The Halleluyah Chorus. He got it full blast!
Fraud, automated voice claimed that i would be investigated for suspicious activity with my bank accounts. When I answered it promoted me to press 1, i did so but when answered it was just a bunch of people talking in the background in a foreign language.

SCAM - Claimed to be from Amazon offering to arrange a refund for an order if I provided details. I pointed out that I could cancel through my account. They said they would not refund me without the details. I ended the call and checked my account which showed no activity

Call saying Amazon were taking £79.99 from my a/c and press 1 to cancel the transaction or 2 to speak to advisor. I put phone down. I notice callers are introducing themselves with very English christian names, when clearly have Asian accents.! When challenged, they end the call.
SCAM Fraudsters are spoofing this number, please beware. If in doubt, hang up and call the number on a different phone, ie mobile or landline. Do not use the same phone as fraudsters can manipulate the line.
