Fraud – non-specific bank claiming that money had been taken from one of our cards and had been transferred abroad. Checked all cards and no transactions matching the amount specified have been attempted to be taken from account. Didn’t press any buttons on phone and call just ended after a few seconds.
These people called me this afternoon, didn't leave a message. They seem to be searched for on this site by others; hence I've blocked them.

Sounded like an Indian Call Centre saying they were calling regarding my computer. I told them I knew it was a scam and asked them not to call again. They called back again immediately insisting it was not a scam. I hung up and googled the number then found this site.

They told me id had an accident... (which I didn t) so I told them id just done a poo in my pants if they would like to help me with my accident !! They then got annoyed which I found hilarious as after the conversation was over it was them annoyed and not me! That s the way to deal with these harassing fools!

Tried to tell me that I need to get a new mortgage right now or I would end up in ?10,000+ worth of debt due to my current mortgage. However I rent my home - I have never had a mortgage, have never even enquires about one, and no intention to get one. SCAM Sent SMS including a link. Said I had missing census information and not updating this may result in £1000 fine. Said for me to click the link to update information to avoid having to pay any fines in future. I clicked the link but phone detected the link as unsafe and sent me a full red screen reading: “DECEPTIVE WEBSITE DETECTED” and gave me a choice to proceed or to go back to previous page. Don’t be fooled like I was! You may not be so lucky as to dodge the negative consequences like I was!

Scam is to get Yr correct information name dob.. address and ask u for the 2 letter and 2nd 4th letter of your national insurance number then they say it does NOT match put u in fear that if u don't confirm correct details BTW now with NI BUT with 1st letter, 1st 3rd and last letter of NI. Convincing u if it was a scam why hv they not asked for bank details Ah so they can open account with Yr now given credentials.
