Got an automated message from this number saying I must make a payment. Googled number its a debt collection agency. Have no idea what its about. Think its a scam
This is actually Santander. I just had £400 of bank charges refunded by them over the phone and had my online banking on to check the refunded had been made at the same time. They asked for part of my date of birth and address, which they have to do to check the right person answered the phone. They were able to quote my bank account numbers (all 4 accounts) and balances on them. They referred to a call I made to them earlier in the week. This is not a scam. TAXES / HMRC SCAM - Received a call from this number. Recorded message informing me that a letter from HMRC had been returned and therefore proceedings are going to be issued against me. I was instructed to press '1' to speak to an advisor but I hung up instead and reported the call to ICO.org.uk. I am hoping that this is not somebody's private number being cloned.
