They were just calling to confirm delivery and check that the order was correct before processing. I was offered add on s, but there was no hard sell. the person on the phone was polite.
The woman told me she was from a Talk Talk department and was calling about my router. After making her repeat the same thing several times I told her I had had the same or similar calls about 150 times, knew she was nothing but a criminal and.....by that time she had rung off! As usual, the number she had used for the call was as fictitious as her story. The crooks use different invented numbers each time.

I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. All my contacts come up as named entries. Phone usually rings a few times with unknown numbers to me, goes to the answer phone and no message is generally left, so I check via this web site in case it could be a safe number, but so far never has been. It is worth the effort to put all your contacts into your phone, it saves older people much distress.

I also have been getting these calls daily . A recurring theme of heavy Asian/Indian accents. THey have been asking me to complete a survey . My husband is ill and currently in hospital so the last thing I need to is to have both silent and abusive calls from these people. These people lie to try and seel yuo stuff. Called me today and swore blind they had spoke to me yesterday at 11.30 unfortunately I was actually on a plane at that time. Caller was aggressive and still wouldnt back down even though his lie had been exposed. I am registered with TPS so they shouldnt of called in first place!!
