Do not answer from this number, potentially dangerous. Lady claiming she was from Virgin media. I explained that I'm not with them (she tried to argue I was) and eventually asked me if I was 'stupid or something' and then hung up. Probably will want to take personal details.

Just spoken to O2 regarding this number and the calls my wife had been getting. They confirmed that the number does belong to O2 and is not a scam, it is their Customer Research (for want of a better description) calling to ensure she was getting the right deal for her and to see if she wanted to upgrade, so I suppose they re Market Research/Sales. Perfectly safe to answer. If in doubt, just don t give answers to questions you feel uncomfortable about.

A young Welshman phoned my mobile today. After an unusual and suspicious delay ("Hello? Hello? Poor reception where I was when I answered so they couldn't hear me, but they knew my name, eventually they hung up. I rang the number back later and immediately heard an automated message saying my custom was important to them and I would be answered by the next available agent but no-where in the message did they reveal who they were so hung up.

Unsolicited call from 02031265384 02092021. Possible scammers or criminal organisation based in India. Do not pick up as it will be to steal ur bank details! Location says Trafalgar Square London but possible rerouted there from Indian scam call centres. Each time I order from Amazon I have scammers try to steal my cash! Reported to Amazon they did nothing at all! BEWARE

They maintain they are The Home Energy Centre (Chelmsford no.) but no trace of them anywhere. Treat with caution. They even phone you if you are registered with TPS

Has regularly called each day for some weeks but never leaves a voicemail. Someone calling asking I have been in a car accident. Not sure how they got my number
SCAM and potential fraud – automatic voice message claimed they were calling regards an “HMRC fraud in my name” (name not specified) and asking me to connect to an agent by pressing '1', and that if I didn't then a warrant would be issued for my arrest.
Calls from this number received two days running. Tried returning call but unsuccessful. First call nothing heard. Second call talk of someone having an accident.
Just ignore .hopefully one day they will get fed up :)

73p access charge an 7p. A short ring received and stop so knew it was a scam, but trying to delete from my missed calls, my phone dialled the number and I ended the call but not quick enough, so charged. Obviously a scam to may you call back a premium number and make money from their charges.

Its not just AO I just received a call from a young woman claiming to be from boots appliances, in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact her sole purpose was to sell insurance cover! She repeated every detail of my delivery, which I already know, told me they can remove my old appliance, which I already know etc etc etc then asked me why my old appliance was broken! All leading to the insurance pitch! These are badly scripted insurance sales calls! I am very disappointed that boots

SCAM / SPAM usual thing. strong south Asian accented guy called 'paul' told me he was from EDF and clarified that they are my current supplier. then said due to covid they couldn't said engineers out to read meters. 1) I send readings in online. 2) every meter I have seen in the last 25 years is outside. covid becomes irrelevant in this case 3)I have never given reading over the phone. hang up
