Missed it I was in the bath!

Called my mobile and then landline number and a man with a Liverpool accent said they had been passed my details and they were calling about an accident I d had. Told him I hadn t and they should not have my details and to remove them from their lists and also told him that both numbers registered with TPS so will report them.

Had a quote online which wasn't for me. I had a few missed calls and an email. I must add to the comment above it was no where stated that they tried to persuade me. I fina...

Male caller rang from this number at lunchtime today. A bit of a waffle introduction, but eventually got round to the subject - an invitation to a free financial seminar (apparently people are really interested in it because of low interest rates). But he declined any request to put his information pack in the post to me. Pretty sure its a scam that should be avoided.

This is a scam. It comes through as a local number and tells you you have been charged a large amount by a popular online store then asks for information.

persistent harassment calls from slightly different number each time, which makes blocking difficult. If I don t answer, no message ever left on answerphone.

Got letter from these people LCS, saying they were acting on behalf of HMRC and I owed them around £256.45p...something like that...I believed them because I do owe ...

Paypal scam - posing as a Gumtree buyer . He/she will reply to anything you have for sale on gumtree. They send you a text but then ask you to reply to a moody email address. The one they gave me was [email?protected] and the number they used was +44 141 280 7229. Clearly foreign (poor use of English) and also clearly retarded - lack of understanding of gramma and spelling. Stay well away.

got a call from this number and they hung up when I answered. few mins later someone rang quoting my name and address saying we had been getting unwanted calls. they could block these calls etc sounded good till charge of 1.90 a month mentioned. i asked who reported these calls but he said it was a general thing people in this area were suffering from. after hung up I checked the number of who called and was same as first caller who had hung up. these are the very same people we dont want calls from surely?

if you google this number it only links to being a number that people call, not that they call from this number.
