This is a scam number. Claimed to be from BT Internet, ringing about other devices being connected to my BT Hub. (Rang off when asked why they thought other devices were being used without permission.)

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. If this number contacts you about a "recruitment", it's a scam. Do not engage. And certainly don't deposit any money into their service, you're not getting it back.

SCAM recorded message saying from my Bank that 2 amounts in my bank account and to call them by pressing certain numbers etc!!! Didn’t of course and put the phone down. I only answered as it was from my area, Oxford! They have tried before about 6 months ago. Be careful.

Fraud automated call telling me that a payment of over£900 was requested from my visa account and to hit one of a series of numbers on my keypad. Needless to say, I didn't and ended the call.

SCAM had a text saying apparently my Santander card was being used in Argos and to text N if it is not me. The problem is that I do not have any dealings with Santander

Scammers are spoofing numbers. Or they are the scammers themselves. Had text scam from this number, fake voicemail msg with a dodgy link. Never reply. Never call. Never click on any links. B.R.D= Block. Report. Delete.

07468578922 Called this morning purporting to be from 3 Mobile wanting to speak to me about my contract. I’m not with 3 Mobile and the caller's number isn’t either (it registered to a Chinese network). When I tried to question the caller they swiftly terminated the call. Suspected scam.

recorded message saying my card had been used today for suspicious payments of £300 and £1350 today. Then asked me to press 1to cancel payments and a couple of other options. I terminated the call. Obviously a fraud/scam as no indication of which card was involved.

said it is from HMRC important letter sent back press 1 to speak to officer. Suspected it was a scam and cut line.
