Got a call from this number claiming I had been in an accident. When I asked them where they got my number from they said it was from accident statistics. I said no that is a lie where did you really get it from they said ok then hung up

The people on the other end of this phone have confirmed by letter they are delivering me a phone on 23rd August 2012 and that my current phone will be switched off on 26th. I am now receiving phone calls telling me I am entitled to a free upgrade and cheaper phone rate. Called late Sunday evening. Our VOIP phone not currently working, but a blank message was left on my message service & got sent to my email, together with record of dialling number. No idea who s behind the call.

Just received a call from these people claiming to be providing access to some sort of discount club and that they would send a welcome pack in the post. The guy who called could hardly speak English and said that I needed to update all of my details with him today otherwise, no one would be able to reach me by telephone or via my web site. I asked who he was calling from and he didn t say, so i asked him to delete my number from his call list. I think he then said he would ensure my entire records would be deleted and slammed down the telephone. Bon Chance!!

Had a liverpudlian girl called Lucy call me just from 01704222222, said she was calling from Alderley Assist, got the usual call centre spiel, had my name on file which I confirmed. Someone called me from this number this morning and I answered. He said that he was phoning in regard to a recent survey that had done with regard to debts and wanting to reduce the amount paying. He knew my name but did not introduce himself or who he was workingfor. As soon as I told him I had not filled any survey online he hung up. I tried to ring the number back but it went through to an Orange answerphone that message box was full.
