Indian Call Centre (Surprise Surprise) Claimed to be from my Network provider - When i asked who? They Said "Virgin Mobile" - Im Not with Virgin Which i told her along with a few other choice words!

SCAM Told my Visa card was being charged £300 by Amazon and £1100 being taken by Western Union. I don't have a Visa card. This is a scam.

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. SCAM Claiming to be EE international, never heard EE call them themselves before. Tried to offer me an amazing deal on a iPhone 4, a phone that came out 10 years ago. Think I stick with my Google Pixel 6 thanks. When I asked to be taken off there call list the caller got aggressive and angry. Think he was mad because couldn't scam me.

Called today 21.07.23, Indian sounding call centre claimed they could save me 30% of my O2 bill, I am not with O2, and when I asked where they found my number they said it was from a generated call list. My phone has the function of bringing up the business name when a call comes through, so when I proceeded to tell the caller that the actual call seemed to be coming from Gibb & Evans, he became a little confused! I ended the call and called the number back, to which an English gentleman answered with

SPAM - "Green Energy Advice Bureau". Addressing potential leads as "mate" and claiming they haven't phoned us before, which they definitely have.

This was an automated call saying they were from Amazon & I was being charged £90 for Amazon Prime. I do not have Amazon Prime & I know Amazon does not have my home number. Total scam

I answered and he hung up after saying something I didn't quite hear seemed surprised I answered I've had 4 calls from this number when trying to ring it back to see who it was unknown number response I would say scam number now blocked

Constantly texts me saying I need to call them about my case when as far as I am aware I owe no money to any company

They rang saying it was the Inland Revenue and that I had ignored letters and owed money and to press 1 to speak to their operative which I did not do. I blocked the number. I am a pensioner with heart problems so not impressed. It was a recorded message which sounded robotic - hope this helps and hope you can take it down. I've reported it to Inland Revenue via their on line form.
