SCAM Sent SMS including a link. Said I had missing census information and not updating this may result in £1000 fine. Said for me to click the link to update information to avoid having to pay any fines in future. I clicked the link but phone detected the link as unsafe and sent me a full red screen reading: “DECEPTIVE WEBSITE DETECTED” and gave me a choice to proceed or to go back to previous page. Don’t be fooled like I was! You may not be so lucky as to dodge the negative consequences like I was!

SImilar number to other scam calls had recently where they say they are an energy company-capitlising on the recent news. Said he was an energy something in my area. Yeah right. I was called from this number and the caller was very insistent / pushy about the fact that I MUST be owed PPI compensation otherwise they would not be calling.
