The same recorded message about them "urgently trying to contact me". Energy related, mentions solar panels too, and concludes by saying they are UK based and government funded. The recording always states that you can press 2 to talk free to their adviser, but I never do in case this is redirected to a premium-rate number. I ve reported it to the ICO numerous times. Sometimes the same message arrives without a return number. Wish I knew how to stop this.

Somebody purporting to be "Ellie from Options" texting me about my non-existent job application, asking for my address, email address, national insurance number, copies of passport, birth certificate, proof of national insurance, copy of my Cscs card (whatever that is!) back and front, 2 x working references. An aggressive and persistent man called Solomon cold called and said he had information that we were paying too much for our phone and got quite angry and indignant when I said I was reluctant to swap from BT to National Business. I hung up and wish I hadn t bothered to listen in the first place.

Scam call claiming to be British Gas regarding our electricity renewal - caller didn't sound professional, was in an overseas call centre by the sounds of it, didn't know the account holders name and said he couldn't give me a contact number to call them back on, he has to call me directly apparently.... took me about 10 seconds to find the renewal department contact number online so I'm confused why he said he couldn't give me one.
Had a call from this number. Lady stating she was from BT Accounts. When I challenged her she told me to ring 0800 800 153 which is unavailable. Definite hoax / scam for personal details.

This number as called my mobile on a regular weekly basis # Normally twice a day- ( roughly between 4-5 pm )
Automated call telling you if you don't attend court your national insurance number will be suspended, although no name of which court.. then the automated message tells you to call another number to "resolve" the issue, where someone is ready and willing to take all your personal details and bank card details, and wipe out your bank to resolve an issue that only turning up at an un-named court could previously do. SCAM do not fall for this. HMRC would never contact you this way.

I have just fielded the 10 call from these people trying to talk to my husband, claiming they are legal advisors (I don t think he s divorcing me!) a load of tosh!!!! When challenged they hung up.
This number has phoned me 4 times and due to missing call I returned their call and I've always got the answering machine. Getting random calls since October 2019.
They carry out a Q&A survey on behalf of the University of Bath.

Fraud SCAM Called me pretending to be from Amazon saying that someone had ordered an iPhone on my account. They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. Got quite upset when I refused to give them the code
Probably TPI (Third Party Intermediary) using hard sell techniques to convince to switch to OPUS or similar energy companies. They will do anything possible to hide the fact that they are energy brokers which is actually against the Trading Standards but Ofgem will soon start to go after them. They will try to convince you to accept a new contract with them. DO NOT Trust them as they will get paid and you may end up with an expensive new contract.
