Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. He asked for someone I don’t know. I told him I didn’t know the person and he got rude and aggressive with me before hanging up. I’ve blocked the number.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. As usual at tea time and I guess they could tell from my tone that talking would be waste of time, so it ends up a silent call.

I received calls for weeks from this number, all i could get was a fake company name: utilite. The person who I spoke to said they got my number from a data provider which he refused to releveal.

Looked like the usual nuisasance call when I saw the number. I tried calling back but recieved a auto message saying the number was not in service!

Apparently I ve been involved in a car accident that wasn t my fault, which is news to me. So naturally I decided to wind them up and be overly dramatic without ever answering a question properly. It worked like a treat and they hung up.

GOT THEIR NUMBER!! IF you want to call them through their parent company Plantec Holdings Ltd. on 0870 285505. It s taken lots of digging and loads of numbers that no longer exist (surprise, surprise), but you can check this by Googling Plantec Holdings Ltd and First Legal Support and it will be the top hit! Not that I would encourage everybody to call them up and complain, but how many of us have had calls? I ve also threatened to report them to OFCOM. Do not accept be bullied by nuisance calls!

I have received five missed calls from this number so far, in the last two days. The sixth was at 06:04pm, on the 17/01/2013. It was a woman, I never caught the companies name, but she was calling from Manchester. She knew all my details and was calling on the subject of repaying loans and debts.
