I don’t complete surveys, and certainly don’t give my address to any such company. Received a call from this number and it was Yell.com Wanted to discuss my business listing in Yell and asked me to type in a www address to look at a link that shows how my webpage looks on Yell. I did not realise in the quickness of the conversation that typing in the address that I was given, gave the caller remote access to my pc. Nor did they say that by typing in this address it would allow them access. I was horrified and clicked the page off. Then having finished the call, I checked my pc to see
They called twice today. Within 2 minutes. Plonkers. All I get on my answerphone is two tones. Do they expect me to ring back? As I have an internet phone number, I do not have a handset, It is there for any plonkers to ring. If I need to leave my number to anyone I have not done business with direct then I expect to receive these sh1t calls. That's why I have one of these numbers.
