Missed the call so called back. Indian accented person picked up as HMRC but cut call when I started asking questions.
Recorded message saying my Visa card had been debited by £400 to Amazon and a money transfer of £700 to California. Female Indian caller. Gave her short shrift and hung up.

SCAM They started messaging me on whatsapp. it's a known chinese honey pot scam using atrative asian woman photos and then trying to make you invest in some kind of criptocurrency, mostly target men, everywhere in the world.

SCAM - wish I had seen the other message on here sooner. We were scammed by this number trying to buy a puppy from ‘Pets4Homes’ by someone referring to themselves as ‘Marcel’. Do NOT engage with them, they are fraudsters. The person on the other end of the phone has a strong Scottish accent - BEWARE. This has been reported to Action Fraud and the Police so they will hopefully be caught.
After looking into this more, turns out this number is linked to what is known as a locksmith scam. They will over charge and drill out your lock and damage your door instead of just lockpicking it. They are not on the MLA Approved Locksmiths. Although, if you are happy of being overcharged as hell, I am a victim of this scam, but they did come out within 15 minutes, gotta give them that.

I get at least 5 calls from them every day. They are really stubborn and they want to know every sell-able information about you. I have requested to them about 10 times that I am not interested, please opt me out, but they just don t give a damn about my privacy or respect my decision of not giving out the information I am not comfortable in giving! Call centre, claiming to be the Technical Department @ Virgin Media, wishing to discuss my internet access. I told her my number is registered with TPS and requested that all of my details are immediately removed from their database. She hung up without confirming whether she had complied. Strangely, her telephone number seems to be a landline in Germany and she is calling a UK mobile number. As I am not a Virgin Media customer, this is most likely a scam.

SCAM. Caller stated himself to be from the "UK Claims Department" which the UK's Financial Conduct Authority states to be unauthorised to conduct financial matters within the UK. From a mobile number too - no legitimate company would allow that. You're now warned!
