After all the complaints, it beggars belief that these scammers are still using the same phone number and not been arrested. We are a computer repair business and have 2 telephone lines. Claimed to be Visa ringing about fraudulent transactions on my account. First warning sign - Didn't know who I was. They should know whose account the transactions were on Second warning sign - As far as I'm aware Visa don't contact people direct, your card issuer will contact you. So it would have been Lloyds, Halifax, barclaycard, etc

SCAM / SPAM this number has called to say my internet will be disconnected in next 48 hours due to illegal activity on my account. It asks you to wait to be put through to an advisor. Virgin Media would not do this. Call disconnected by myself and blocked number. This was the same as yesterday but on a different number.
This number rang and asked if I could hear them, I said I can. Then they rang off, very odd. But seemed suspicious.
