an Indian woman told me my computer was at risk online from third party access. Asked me to press two keys together then tell her what it said. I didn't press the keys but said my computer was old and it had crashed, she rang off after saying thank you for your time. Obviously a scam to access your computer fraudulently.

Call from 7904 993478 supposedly from HSBC stating a new payee request was created from a unrecognised device and giving a link to authorise it. Don't click the link!!

I had 01352 380040 appearing 42 times on my telephone bill in a 3 hour period, each call was 3 minute duration and times at 5 minute intervals. When I rang the number I got a pre-recorded message telling me to ring 118820 for further information. Thinking

SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.
