Further to my earlier post this caller also seems to use this number with additional prefixes - 00144 - and dropping the first 0 , presumably trying to bamboozle the system or the receiver! Still refuses to leave a message.!!

Missed call. Called them back. Answered unprofessionally Hello.. wouldn t tell me who they were, very evasive. The guy said it s illegal to call them on a withheld number Obviously an idiot. Made up a name and postcode then he said they were NRG . It was about loft insulation and of course how they would be in my area tomorrow.
Further to "Tired of scammers..." I have now been called 5 times in 2 days by this supposed Cheltenham number. (Yet they tell you they are in London if you ask, although they are at a loss if you ask in which part of London.) I am confident that they are in fact located in the Indian subcontinent.
