Said she was calling from BT open reach about my internet being hacked. Said she would not ask for any personal or bank details. Asked if I had given my internet password to anyone outside my house. I kept asking her for her details but she then asked me if I had a mobile phone. I knew she was scamming and asked her to shut up for one moment and she then said and you shut up two and then she hung up. This would have been dangerous if I had let her download any app or software to my phone

SCAM - a man with a accent asked my for 30seconds of my time, i asked who he was and what he wanted he gave me all my details and phone number and aske me to confirm which i said no, i asked him to remove me from the mailing list he said no, i told him i didn't want anymore phone calls and why couldn't he remove me, he said i can't tell you !! Called today, 11.38...Voice said "Hi my names Chris, a local energy advisor, I hope everyone is ok"....I didn't speak and after about 10 seconds the line cuts off. Initially you think its someone there, but it isn't. It says the first recorded part, then waits for a voice to answer, at which point it plays the next part, which usually talks over you. very clever, but a scam nonetheless. Just hang up or say nothing and you are good.
