Flagged as scam on Samsung so did not pick up. Have a business phone so would not expect personal life insurance call. Honestly, GDPR was a waste of time, penalising honest businesses but scammers and thiefs are safe? Just don't pick up a number you don't know, why would your Insurance call you? They never do.

Received a call from someone with heavy asian accent claiming to be called Neil. Informed me that the monthly maintenance fee for my TV was to be reduced next month & wanted to confirm bank details. I do not have TV maintenance contract so told him so and hung up. SCAM!!!!!!!!

a company cold called me today offering me £2000 gauranteed in my account in 45 minuets..all i had to do is send them..£110..via a card i get from my local shop..what made things sound dodgy is he was ringing me back ten minuets later asking if i sent the money.i said no as i cant afford £110 pound so he said how much can i afford i said £90 & he agreed to take £90 ..i then thought this was a scam as a legitimate company wouldnt do that..as ive read on some threads this company is a scam....loans & finance

Man called with bad english telling me they do data collection I was asking where they got my details from, they already had my name and surname and were asking questions such as, what brand my TV is and if I have a sky satellite dish. got a text from this number saying my account with Natwest has been locked, I am not with Natwest and it also links to a website. the website it links to domain was created 17 hours ago with a low traffic volume a bit weird for Natwest. Don't you think? I would avoid this link and if you are really worried call up Natwest on their official number.

Friendly call about my insurance which I was looking into online. Answered my questioned and sorted it out for less than I thought.
Fraud: Pretending to be talk-talk again to 'help me' with my internet. I pushed them to verify who they were and telling me just one digit from my account number
These people keep phoning claiming they are the support for my internet providers. How do I get rid of them? I ask them which IP since I have 3, one of which is a bank, and I have 3 modems in my house. That normally makes them swear at me and hang up. The other method is to ask them which IP they are calling about, and when they say one, true or not, I say that the account is set up with a security word and they must confirm that before I can talk to them. They swear and hang up. They are always from India,
