Answered the call but no one answered back, then I may have heard a sorry before line went dead. this has happened twice now so I am blocking the number.

Called us 3 times to sell iPhone 14 pro max plus 256 gb for £35 a month with unlimited minutes, and texts + 1000 International minutes and free roaming abroad. It seemed to be fishy as £35 x 24 months= £840 while the same phone on its own from pc world currents on its own is £1250 - they say they are phoning from pc world currys -and the email they sent seemed flawed. They wanted us to pay about £39 delivery and our bank details for direct debit - but seemed dodgy so just ended the call.
Said it was calling about a banking transaction. I believe it to be a scam call.

SCAM it was a automated message in a american accent voice that claimed it was from hmrc and it tries to fear you into thinking your in trouble and it wants you to press 1 to contact a officer which more than likely you probably shouldnt do, hang up and block them instead.

I had a phone call from this number today (25/02/2022-17:17) (0161-520-1872 !!!) The person on the line asked for me by name. Which seem very odd to me. As this is a number that I did not know. And told me that he calling to ask if my home had any damaged from the recent bad weather we have had. When I then asked him on how he got my personal number. Rang off as soon as the realised they were rumbled and I was running reverse tracing on them. South African IP and call number spoofing.
