They rang me in regards to my SIPP with Avalon. I lost out on alot of money when Charles Derby (IFA) moved me over to a personal pension without explaining the risks. This company, think it's called claiming for you or something, are going to put in a claim on my behalf as i have no time to do it myself & are not charging me a fee. They will take a percentage of any money they win back for me.

This number rang giving advice on accidents, i am assuming that my personal number was given through some sort of data-base as they rang home address too just tell them your not intrested and hang up thats it. If the company calls again just answer and say you have a company dealing with accident, if you choose to ignore it will ring ring ring and ring.

An Asian sounding woman claimed she was from BT and was she speaking to the person who pays the bills etc. I said no, but my husband would be home at 6.30pm so call back. The woman immediately said that it was important information she had that our computer has been hacked and this could be dangerous. I said no thanks and put the phone down. Considering I don't have a computer I can only assume this was a dangerous scam for others to watch out for.

just received a letter from the DWP requesting bank details so they can pay my pension into it instead of the post office.if this is a scam, it's a b****y clever, very convincing one. it was accompanied by a letter in the same post from the post office telling me I could close my card account with them free of penalty, though it's not the type of a/c that incurs penalties. the letter even quotes my national insurance number at the top. very clever of two big organisations to hit the same postal delivery tog

This is a call from a firm called UK Pensions Review offering a free no obligation review of your pension. The call is triggered by a call centre in India and after a short chat with the agent there you get put through to a UK 'consultant' who talks more about a no obligation review of your pension with some worrying scaremongering stats. eg 4.0% AMC on your pension plans and recent reforms in pensions etc etc. There have been no significant reforms that would require a firm such as this to cold call people
