These jokers called me today addressing me as "Mr Steven" I said where are you calling from? He said "Nationwide" I said "Really? Well then you should know that in Britain nobody is Mr first name either just use their first name or Mr with their last name". This confused my thickly accented Indian friend greatly but I think he understood me in the end. Scam - company trades under many names claiming to be a loan company asking for first months payment in advance . Contact police if any communication .

Tried a free app called call zapper today! I m sure there s loads similar ones available too! Answer silently (you have to be somewhere quiet!) then press home button and really quickly open the app then hit the FAX button and it plays the fax tone down the line to them! Let s see if it results in my number being deleted from their database! Give it a try and post up here how you get on!! PS It s not my app or anything (!) just sharing something I hope will work! JL

I Believe this to be sky television, or someone who is trying to sell you a cheaper TV package, the accent sounded like India or Pakistan, the dialing code is Bedford UK.

We have been called from this number by somebody claiming to be from British Gas, about an outstanding invoice. As out invoices are regularly paid on time, this is a scam to try and get card details for payment.

Received several missed calls. Today I got a text message as if the message had come from 02. Really annoying.

He says his name is James Dawson from the legal department of mega online and claims that I owe £317. I owe nothing. He clams that bills have been sent. A lie.

This number called twice this week, both times trying to sell renewable energy products (probably solar panels) but pretending to be a survey. The number doesn t display as withheld.

Gave all the pitch of being Department of work and pensions. Then asked to confirm my address which was 10 years out of date. I told them its wrong and DWP do not show this phone number. Phone went dead?. I just can t think what may have happened with their connection LOL

Called asking for information on my recent accident,when I asked who had informed them she said she would remove my number from there data base ,and then hung up .
