Received a scam text message from this number late at night reading: "Hey mum, using friends phone cos my screen broke. can u msg my temp number on whats app 07379573194 x" I also then received another text saying "hi" from 07597207752, which I know also send the same text message above.

The caller was an Indian man who knew my name, but refused to tell me his name or which company he is calling on behalf of. He hung up after I told him I will take legal action against unsolicited and junk calls.

Very slick, found out where my child goes and said 'headmaster will call you yo thank you'......then start pressurising payment over the phone and calling back daily. Has rang 3 times in twenty minutes asking for someone who left the company over a decade ago. Then asking for the person who deals with the energy account (we have a broker who deals with it all on our behalf) and when told we are not interested rings back anyway.

Called asking for someone else by name. Told them they had the wrong number and I obviously didn’t sound like a woman (who they asked for). Asked who they were speaking to. Told them it was no concern of theirs who I was, but I am not the person they were after and I didn’t know anyone of that name. Could be genuine, but I don’t give my name to anyone over the phone that calls me out of the blue.

Fraud Had text claiming to be be from Starling Bank - text came through on same message thread as previous verification code so I thought it was genuine. Text advised suspicious activity in my account for which they would be contacting by phone (which they did the next day) They already had lots of my identifying info and put me through other checks. They’d cleared thousands out of my account by the time I’d called Starling bank a few hours later.
