I informed her i had not been in a car accident and that i was registered with the Telephone Preference Service and asked her to take my details off any Call lists and i bid her goodbye and promptly put the phone down.

Genuine call from Halifax fraud prevention. They noticed someone in USA somehow used my card for a very small amount £4.24 (apparently they do this to see if it s accepted) They have cancelled my card and are sending a new one straight away. Excellent service from Halifax

Recorded message,they said it was HMRC and if I did not press 1 to connect with them a Warrant for my arrest would be issued straight away... Just how stupid do theses scammers think we are.

Thats because your devices are spoofed and its thesame set of people scamming you under different names, you can not understand until an expert explain it to you. I have told them I am in dispute with the company which has employed them but they keep calling and saying they want to talk to me. I wrote to them and told them that I do not accept calls as everything must be in writing. They do not stop despite the industry rules.

This company has been ringing my home phone for months on lots of different numbers. I never answer as I have caller display They leave a message for someone I have never heard of and say that they need me to ring back as they need to contact this person urgently.

I can only presume it was a prank call as that's twice I've had a call from this number and they've hung up as soon as I've answered on both occasions

I have received calls from these people every day but nobody is on the line. So I emailed them and told them to remove my ex directory number immediately as they are contravening the new Data Protection Law and one more call and I will complain and they could incur as hefty fine, if I wanted their insurance I would call them, so Google Data Protection and go on their site, There is a link where you can complain. This is harassment so let s put a stop to it.
