I Got the call twice from this number to my mobile phone within a week. First time its disconnected as soon as I picked the call. Second time someone spoke with me and verified my name by telling the name correctly and asking that have I met with a road accident and claiming. I have replied my name is correct but I didn t met any accident and applying claims. A Google search indicates that the number, if genuine, belongs to TB Law, a law firm in Central London.

Call from monitoring centre for emergency pendants and pull cords in sheltered housing etc

I think this is a scam call. Got a phone call offering me loads of different discounts; hotels, supermarkets - you name it. No cost apparently apart from mailing this discount card out to me which is ?1.65. Sounds good, only they said they were from Simply Be - why could this not be added to my account as they wanted to take the ?1.65 from either a debit or credit card.

Indian sounding lady rang my ex-directory home phone. Asked when I had had a car accident. I said, "Don t you know?" The line then went dead.

Have been called 4 times in 6 days from this number. It appears to be some form of insurance and once I said that I was on the preferential call list he put the phone down!

They call every day and never stop. I have no idea who they are as they never leave voice mail and if you call back it goes to an expensive 08 numbet.
