Text Message about Judy playing a game of golf, been searched 52 times in a week by others suggest is spam, I’ve blocked caller just in case

Calling at all times of the day and trying to convince you to stay on the line. I suspect it s a fishing exercise to gather info we may seem to think is harmless but gives clues to passwords bank details and so on the first question was who do I bank with and do I bank online I am deeply suspicious of anyone asking about any of my financial details unsolicited as banks don t call asking my details so no-one else should either

I received a text claiming to be from EE telling me my bill was unpaid and asking me to click on the link and update my bank details. I assume this is a scam

This is a very complex scam. They use Voice recognition software and series of recorded English female responses. NEVER GIVE ANY DETAILS RE YOUR NAME< ADDRESS OR ANYTHING. THIS IS FIRST RATE FISHING. KEEP them on the line for as long as possible so they don t have time to annoy others, especially the vulnerable. Its much more fun to wind them up than come off the phone annoyed...

Automated voice with American accent claiming to be from Amazon and owing £399. Obvious scam, could worry some folk.

Its ao call centre, they try to sell you their insurance as others have said it, if you are not interested be polite and say bye otherwise they will keep try to chat.

Tesco Credit Card Fraud Line. Informed me that my card had been skimmed, rang main number to confirm this.

Left me a message with some awful music recorded. It went on for ages. Sly tactics by this horrible company. I think you have to have a certain disposition and character to work for this Transcom Company.

This number shows as International and 01274792012... Said it was a quick survey, I asked where they got my details from and they said public source. They knew my name, address, postcode and phone number. Fairly obvious that they are identifying opportunities for onward selling. I think the only reason I have a home phone these days is for junk/spam calls. Another one for the block list.

Had a call from this number offering to block unwanted and had done some homework about where I live generally etc Ended up correctly quoting a couple of digits from my debit ...

Very rude and vague. The caller claims that is from PTI, but he doesn t want to go into more details abut the reason of calling. He insists on being put through the Managing Director. If you ask more questions regarding the company he is calling from he hangs up.
