Unknown caller from Manchester and they never left a message on my answerphone so it must be a scam. It will now be blocked liked a large number of calls recently from 0161 area.
Scam - said they were from some sort of social housing repair team and asked what problems I've been having with my rental property, damp, repair needs etc. I pointed out I don't live in a rental property and they hung up.
I too have solar panels and I have had eight calls in the last week from a Chelmsford number. Its as good as a scam, pretending to have discount vouchers for work on your house to be more eco friendly. Very persistent and don't take no for an answer.

This guy called me and he said he was a member of the association AML "anti money laundering" in UK and international also. He pretended he could recover money from crypto websites. (I don't know what is crypto). He knows English, french and dutch. He has strong (false) argument to tell you. When I ask him to call the association AML to be identified, he turns around the circle. Call from ‘Michael’ of PrimeInvest wanting to refund £11000 of my £250 deposit, but first I need to download anydesk, a popular tool for fraudsters to use to get control of your computer. In their facebook ads PrimeInv.co purport to offer AI trading. Their “registered address” is the Google offices in Zurich. They’ll take your money but don’t expect to see any back.
Only annoying as I text the number to say i would phone number back i did i did not leave a voice message and there have not got back to me. And on this site the number does say s UK number but just not the real location of the number.

I’ve had a message today ( looks like half the country has as well ) from this number which I believe is a scam. It states my delivery was delivered yet I have no deliveries exited. I would not open this message just delete it.
