Accident Calling from "the insurance company" when I asked him which one he just said about the accident I'd had. I asked which accident, as I've had a lot recently (I haven't needless to say) to which he replied the minor bump in the car. When I told I'd had a few of those in the last couple of months and I was worried that they were going to take my licence off me, but I didn't think it was my fault, even though they all said it was .... then the line suddenly went very quiet. :-)
Had a liverpudlian girl called Lucy call me just from 01704222222, said she was calling from Alderley Assist, got the usual call centre spiel, had my name on file which I confirmed. I asked her what I could do for her and to cut to the chase as I was busy and got a mouthful of abuse being called and ugly [email protected] and other nice names. SCAM / SPAM - Answered the call and got a ringing tone as if I had made the call. Someone with Northern accent asked me about Life Insurance, but I think it was pre-recorded. I responded, but didn't get an answer. Then it occured to me that, due to the ringing tone, they might somehow have engineered a way for me to be paying for the call so I hung up and blocked the number.
