loads and loads of unwanted and unwelcome calls from an accident claims company, who know nothing about my so called accident. Where did they get my number???? called me to close down a RTA file, said he needed to confirm some information before it could be closed, i said just close it as i dont know anything about it and my insurance company deals with everything, said he cant close it without confirming information with me, he said he wouldn t waste his time by asking me this as it has to be done to be able to close the file, i just replied so you are wasting my time? and then put the phone down, blocked number

They called and said it was a confidential matter and wanted my details so I asked for the companies name but refused to give it as this would prejudice the situation so I advise that their is no provision within the DPA 1988 which states that they are not allowed to disclosed their details prior to me disclosing mine.
