I get a daily call despite being registered with TPS. I don t answer it. So pensions have replaced PI for an excuse for telemarketing "companies" to harrass you :-(

A company called Motor Investigations telephoned me at 5.58pm on 6th Oct 2016. Supposedly calling regarding a claim in the past 12 months. (I ve not made a claim in the last 12 years!!). Told him I had not made a claim. The man then said that maybe my vehicle had been damaged by a third party possibly in a car park by someone banging their car door into my parked vehicle. This number left me a voicemail saying they were calling from Inland Revenue and to ring them back. If I did not ring back I should expect legal action. Definitely a scam

My mother-in-law has just found a charge for ?99.99 on her Barclays statement. I ve just spoken to the bank and they have been 100% helpful and have agreed to refund her ASAP. When mum-in-law initialy went into the bank to query the transaction they told her that it was a holiday company and assisted her to call them. The company told her that they take the view that unless you specifically say otherwise they assume that you want thier services, even though the in-laws had no knowledge of the company. T

Scam call asking for details of my lawyer, for tax default. Claimed to have written to me and wanted details from me. I didn t give them any of my details, they said because I wouldn t give them my information the police would be round my house in a couple of hours to arrest me. Person on the phone did not speak very good English as was definitely not from the HMRC.

They tried to scam me. They claim to be a legitimate business. But they will not disclose any genuine information about themselves. Yet they expect you to give them your personal details. I have since found our that they are fraudsters! DO NOT DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS!
