Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438727xxx range... People did someone answer this number?

SCAM - Claims to be from BT OpenReach. States that there are errors happening at my router, impossible - i have Virgin Cable so it doesn't go over BT OpenReach. Also OpenReach wouldn't call me because they are not responsible for routers in houses, this is BT, they and OpenReach are 2 different companies now.

I asked her where this accident allegedly took place and she said 'in Glasgow' and I asked when it had taken place and she said 'last month' and I said that this was a phishing call. SCAM Caller claimed to be from Energy Grant Advisory Service working k behalf of local council. I could find no such company online e, or on the local district council website. The caller did not understand what I meant when I said I had registered for TPS and insisted that he was no trying to sell anything.
