SCAM recorded message saying from my Bank that 2 amounts in my bank account and to call them by pressing certain numbers etc!!! Didn’t of course and put the phone down. I only answered as it was from my area, Oxford! They have tried before about 6 months ago. Be careful.
SCAM Call center indian pooly speaking english person pretending to be my network provider with offers Mobile networks have there own system to contact you they do not ring off no glasgow number! I asked him what network was he from he hung up so clearly a scammer so ive reported his scam attempt to o2 and blicked him from ringing me ever again!

Not a scam, it's fine! Was told it was HSBC and was asked to verify my identity by the agent on the other end. I let them know I would call back directly to avoid a scam and she said okay, she would put a note on my file about it, and ended the call. I called HSBC directly through their official phone line and asked about it and they DID find a note on my file - it was totally legitimate! If in doubt go ahead and call back anyway, it's good practice, but don't ignore this number because it is actually real

Had a call from this number this morning claiming to be Tesco and press 1 to confirm order of £99, press 2 for customer services. Didn't press anything and hung up. Called number back and it belongs to an elderly lady so someone is cloning her landline number. Tried to explain but she didn't understand.

Spoke to a lovely gentleman in regards to getting help with my mis-sold pension.
The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. Call from Amazon. Told to go online and check emails because somebody was taking £700 from my account. I said no and rang off. Called again wanting to know why I rang off and to get on the computer. I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead. I said OK go ahead.Told to be sure as call recorded. 'Good I replied, then you are also recorded. They rang off.
