P I B 1 CONTRACTOR LTD - charged 88yr old vulnerable male in Kent, £1,468.80 for emergency call out to gain entry as lock out of home and has been reported to Trading Standards. After two local locksmiths quoted £250-300 for work done inc. emergency call out fee. Please report them to trading standards as did not pressure to do work but exploited his desperateness to get back home.

Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. He asked for someone I don’t know. I told him I didn’t know the person and he got rude and aggressive with me before hanging up. I’ve blocked the number.

This number was a representative from a Greenpeace call agency. I checked with Greenpeace to validate this call and they confirmed it. They were asking for a direct debit payment after acquiring my number from a petition I signed. The service was friendly and informative and not malicious unless you don't like charity pressure calling.

Called me and ask for a woman called Lisa, so I said that he has the wrong number. He asked me who is my energy supplier. It sounds like spam.

Once you start talking, your voice initiates the software to connect you to the automated scam voice, or the actual perpetrator. If you don't say anything, after about 10 seconds you'll hear the following automated message: "The other person has cleared".
This is police officers radio which goes point to point into landline hence the number. Its from there radio handset and its a set number.
