These guys will claim that they are trying to close your file if you have had a car accident but all they are doing is phishing for more personal details. Told them I was speaking to my solicitors about them which hopefully will prevent further calls. They do not really help their cause for if you ring the number back an automated message says that it was a marketing call and you will be contacted again later. Idiots.

SCAM - I had a missed call & voicemail from this number. The voicemail was a recorded message in a male American voice asking to call back on the number. They called again, so I answered. He same recorded American Male voice started talking, saying he was someone calling from HMRC to discuss a case with me, and to call him back before "the lawsuit" against me went to "local county court". Caller claimed to be from BT openreach calling about internet issues. They asked me to run a speed test and when I said I had 69 download and 18 upload they said that the difference was an issue. When I pointed out that it was always like that, and wasn't supposed to be the same they hung up. Obviously a scam.
Carphone warehouse asking if you want a deal for £40 per month on whatever phone it is they offered! I asked where they got my number from & to take it off their list as I'm going to block them now! she kept mumbling incoherent!
Not sure which company this is, but they appear to be in Belfast. Always an Asian voice, gets very abusive if you ask them not to call back.

I answered the phone and an automated voice said that I had committed tax fraud and that If I did not press 1 to speak to someone about it. I would be arrested shortly. needless to say I hung up.

I phoned this number back and it said THIS NUMBER IS UNRECOGNIZED so now I know. When I answered this number previously it was an Asian man with bad English from a lifestyle company doing surveys. I ve been a victim of fraud in the past so never do over the phone surveys especially from an Asian man with bad English. Also be careful when you phone someone afterwards as they are always still on the phone line.
