After keeping this cold caller on hold the operator then "threatened" that he had my number and would call many more times ending with calling me a F***ing bovine!! five minutes later he (Geordie lad) called
SCAM - Trying to get my up to date Credit Card Number so they can update my Account for house appliances. Dont have such an account, hung up

missed call when i rang it back line just goes beep then cuts off. Bad sign - trustworthy companies have a recorded message explaining who they are, etc. Did a bit of research - very worrying. consumer websites show people being asked for their bank card details then fees being debited that they werent expecting. Sounds like a scam or at least very, very sharp practise. Avoid answering or block number, is my advice.
If these wallies phone again, I m calling the cops!

Yet another nuisance call from this call centre to a TPS registered private number. The call centre should be closed and prosecuted! Now blocked and added to the other seven similar numbers used from here.

Just had a lady call me from this number... I answered Hello after the obligatory few seconds of silence I said Hello again. She replied... I m Sophie from the National Hearing Clinic. I said Sorry, I can t hear you. - at which point she said Deaf b--ch and put the phone down. Nice.

Call centre, claiming to be the Technical Department @ Virgin Media, wishing to discuss my internet access. I told her my number is registered with TPS and requested that all of my details are immediately removed from their database. She hung up without confirming whether she had complied. Strangely, her telephone number seems to be a landline in Germany and she is calling a UK mobile number. As I am not a Virgin Media customer, this is most likely a scam.
