PPI call from BPC - Black Pearl Claims. Absolute scam, they ve used several different numbers to call me from, and I ve never bought a PPI in my life. I d love to know who sold them my number since I don t use it when filling out forms and such.

Claimed to be Natwest, I refused to give out any details but called natwest instead to see if there was infact a problem with my account... There is not and this number is NOT NATWEST!!

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. Scam, this number has been calling non stop but never answered as it comes up as smap call, Anyway after another call ???????? I answered it. They started asking for my full name, address, bank ect ect which I would not give them, i asked to speak to a manager to say stop calling, they put me on hold, I wait 15mins before I gave up. This is 100% a scam trying to get all your details. Would not say what company they worked for. So they are blocked and cannot leave anymore voicemails.

Had numerous calls from this and a similar number (01132989890) claiming to be from British Gas - chasing payment for someone else s outstanding Invoices. We ve told them several times that they have the wrong number, but they keep calling. Automated message telling me my national insurance number is being suspended because it has been linked to various illegal activity and I need to press 1 to speak to an officer if I want to avoid my property being seized and myself arrested. They must think I was born yesterday as I have no intention of pressing 1 where I suspect I would be asked for lots of personal information and a payment to clear a debt I don’t have. I blocked the number instead.

This number 01133100118 which shows as Leeds rang me & offered to beat my network provider by 30% without knowing who i was with, 5 minutes later the same man (john) rang me again with the same offer, this time the number 01143560006 came up as Sheffield. Leeds to Sheffield in less than 5 minutes is pretty fast so i think these numbers are being spoofed from a computer.
Queried how got my number ‘in our database’. Kept asking who are you and what do you want. They ended the call

I had dealings with retail merchant services last year. Their salesman lied about contracts and fees and altered paperwork after I had signed it. It very nearly cost me £4000, luckily I threatened them with a police case for fraud and they left me alone until now and they are trying to sell me their machines again. Google retail merchant services complaints and then stay well clear.
