Had a text message saying that there was fraud on my account and then to call it. I called my bank and they told me it was a scam to try and get details from you to take money through your telephone banking. Don’t call this number!

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. The call from this number was supposedly from BT saying my landline was to be cut off. I checked with my provider who confirmed this was a scam call as none of my service is from BT. My provider has referred the number to their specialist department for investigation.

Indian call center claiming to be O2 and offering me a 30% discount but also asking me to verify that I'm the owner of the phone by text even though they called me. They also wanted me to tell them how much I was paying per month so that they could discount it, if they are from O2 then why would they not know how much I'm paying already? It's a scam, clearly. No matter how much he tried to persuade me otherwise.
