SCAM Caller said they were from Amazon and that I would have a high payment charged monthly (£79.99) unless cancelled and the caller was going to "help me" cancel my Amazon Prime subscription. After some arguing (as she tried to get me to stay on the line), I hung up and checked Amazon website going through their online chatbot. A guy called Richard called trying to sell Diamonds as an investment. Told him I was not interested and asked him to remove me from their Database at which point he asked why so I said I was not interested again so he said OK I ll call back tomorrow and hung up!

Probably building to a scam, claimed to be BT a UK telephone provider investigating illegal activity on my internet, when I inquired as to who might be doing illegal things the caller suggested probably foreigners! The call was made at 7am in the morning to a private number, land line and one only known to family members.

Number called saying they were from the security department of my bank. No bank name was given. apparently there were two transactions going through on my card, one for Amazon and another larger sum was an international money transfer. I was invited to press 1 to cancel the transactions or 2 to confirm. Naturally I did neither.

recieved a call from HSBC today. somethin about upgrading the "ordinary" account to "premium". well, I don t like being cold called so I hang up. a day later I phoned HSBC. they told I hadn t been called. so..... question... are the guys at HSBC liars or, and more likely, this call had the sole purpose of aquiring account details and so on, aka phishing.

This number calls me every other day and even on Sundays and when I pick up, they keep mute and hang up. They still called today Sunday 14/08/16 at 11:24 hours.

Call from Amazon. Told to go online and check emails because somebody was taking £700 from my account. I said no and rang off. Called again wanting to know why I rang off and to get on the computer. I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead. I said OK go ahead.Told to be sure as call recorded. 'Good I replied, then you are also recorded. They rang off.
