Please stop saying this is a scam, it is NOT A SCAM. This is Nationwide's genuine calling number. They call early in the morning and late at night in order to catch people outside of work hours. If you actually think it's a scam, you ask them for their employee ID and their name, then you call your bank on their normal customer service number and you confirm the person's details PLUS the phone number they called from. Indian sounding guy, Sam , told me he was from BT and that my internet was downloading viruses, I played along with him for a bit, he asked me how many lights were flashing on my router, I said 57... he asked me what colour they were, I said purple, but I might be wrong as I m colourblind! I could tell he was getting narked by this (as he thought he was on to a good one initially), I then told him he should be ashamed of himself, and that he was a class A, 5 star C*NT!
