Answered the call to an Indian woman claiming to be from carphone warehouse. Smelt fake $h1t from miles away. Ive never had dealings with them so challenged her. Poor reception where I was when I answered so they couldn't hear me, but they knew my name, eventually they hung up. I rang the number back later and immediately heard an automated message saying my custom was important to them and I would be answered by the next available agent but no-where in the message did they reveal who they were so hung up.

This is a scam number. Automated call received claiming to be from HMRC and regarding tax fraud. The automated call makes threat about arrest for not paying tax! Asks to press 1 to continue with the call. I am certain if you press 1 then you will be connected to a premium rate number and will be charged hundreds of pounds (may be even thousands).
Not sure who called, but I keep getting these calls every day.
