SCAM Apparently calling from Sky technical team, said there had been Internet errors in the last 2 days and for them to rectify it I need to open my laptop and follow their instructions.... I asked the caller to verify they were from Sky and the caller went silent then hung up. Be careful people.

Just received a call from these people claiming to be providing access to some sort of discount club and that they would send a welcome pack in the post. An automated message comes up saying the call is from HM Revenue & Customs, gives you a case file number, and says if you ignore the call, you will face legal applications. Then asks you to press 1 to speak to an adviser. The advisor distantly says she is calling from the HMRC and asks for your name. When I asked her where are you calling from again, she hung up.

SCAM 01417298573 After initial silence, caller said his name was John and he was my local energy adviser in my area. I asked where he had got my number from as mine was X-Directory and he shouldn’t have it. As I was asking him to delete it he kept forcibly talking over me. I hung him. Blocked his number with BT. Do not give anyone on this number any information.
