Threatening call with Automated American voice claiming to be from HMRC/inland revenue...apparently either me or my solicitor need to call back on this number to speak to a lady called Linda Baker or “face the legal consequences!!” VILE fear mongering at its best...I won’t be calling back...number blocked!!
Keep phoning my number and I have asked to be removed from their database. They are very rude and put the phone down as soon as you request this. The phone number is 01782 930366.

I received a text on this number claiming that I had missed a delivery from Fedex. The website address I was supposed to link to looked suspicious and when I checked online didn't match anything on the official Fedex site. Since I am not expecting a delivery I assume that this is a scam.

Report them to the police immediately. And if you can tell me who they are, I will visit them personally.

This number left a message on my answering machine. The message says to press 5 or press 9 to opt out of future calls. I have no idea what will really happen if I press 5 or 9 because the message left was not complete. The message will have to stay on my phone because I m not going to press any button when I don t know the consequences.
Based on previous comments, highly likely to be a telemarketer or scam. Attempting to call back gives a warning about it being a non-UK number with increased call costs.

Ian from some unsolicited energy company telesales asking wanting to speak to the bill payer for the electricity supply. When told we were on the TPS register he kept himself on hold for a minute and said he had reported it to his manager. Well if they were a decent company they should be using the latest TPS register but obviously they are another scamming company flouting ALL the rules.
