Part of a block-dialing network usually starting with 020 8058 xxxx, phone rings, if you answer call is hung up. No doubt part of a vile scammer outfit using auto-dialers - I get 020 8058 calls a couple of times a month.

SCAM Called said they were from O2 and were offering 50% discount on my bill. I thought I would go along with it (I'm not with O2) because the longer they are on the phone to me, they aren't scamming someone else. Say they are from Connect and can offer cheaper telecoms through openreach and want to set up an appointment. Never heard of them and do not want anything to do with them.
I did not catch the name of the company but they reported Ihad been in an RTA and asked me to confirm. I asked them to confirm the date and they refused so I explained that I had short term memory loss and they would have to remind me when it happened. They put the phone down!!
