They claimed to be from my bank (VM money was Yorkshre Bank) to ask me about potential fraud on my card. (£52 on Argos in Aberdeen) I was supicious when they got agressive when I didn't know my banking paswword and I said I would have to call them back. I called the fraud number I have in my phone (0800 121 4251) and they confirmed it wasn't them that called me before. The chap on the actual fraud line also said that the real bank won't ask for any part of or all your internet banking password EVER!

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. Call from a SCAM gardening & landscaping firm who send round a team (family members) who will not go away until paid large sums of money. My mother paid them nearly £600 for about an hourwork with a chainsaw cutting down healthy trees. They demanded payment in cash & took her to the bank to collect that. I reoprted the offenders to Greater Manchester police who refused to take action.

Various numbers starting with 02394 have called since 29 March 2023 Conversations include: "This is not a Marketing call, blah, blah" "Survey of Loft insulation, blah,blah" "When first caller was asked where speaker was calling from, answer was "The Phillipines"(Sp ?) When subsequent callers have been asked the same question the line has 'dropped out' from the far end! Make your own decision!
Automated call telling me £1000 had been taken from my account for a gambling site in the USA. It then followed saying £300 had been taken to pay Amazon. Neither of these things have happened. It asked to press 1 or 3 as a follow up.
Number appears on a fake PayPal 'You've got a money request'. It is part of a warning that there has been suspicious activity on your (PayPal) account and to call this number - +44-808-196-3116. This is a fake warning added by the scammers, it is NOT a legitimate message from PayPal. If you call the number the Operator will ask to have access to your PC. This is likely where the scam will take place; either malware, key logger or worse.
This mobile called my elderly mother telling her that £4,000 and then £2,000 had gone out of her bank acount. Thankfully my mother realised it was a scam because she does not have a large amount of money in her bank account and immediately put the phone down on the caller.
