I recieved a text message from this number, claiming to be from the post office about a parcel that had to be redelivered. Everything looks real except for the part that is asking me £2.10 for redelivery. The postoffice never ask money to redeliver a package. They say because of covid19 they wont leave a note anymore when they are at your door. That's a lie. Be careful!

Got a call from an asian sounding bloke at 08:00 this morning claimimg he was from the Monistry of Justice and that I was due a £6251 from overpayment in fees to my bank. Said I would get the cheque from a courier, David French, with a Job ID of D102. The reference for the refund was 32568, which was most important. One of their advisors would call me back within an hour. Googled the MofJ and they work out of LONDON not MANCHESTER. Well, I ve now waited 1 1/2 hours and no call back, so I guess I m not getti

Fraud Called me at 8am and a robotic voice asked me to press one to be connected to an HMRC operative or else I would be arrested imminently. HMRC apparently do not ring up using automated voice technology, do not phone up to threaten arrest and are generally not phoning people unannounced at that time of day.

These people keep phoning claiming they are the support for my internet providers. How do I get rid of them? I ask them which IP since I have 3, one of which is a bank, and I have 3 modems in my house. That normally makes them swear at me and hang up. The other method is to ask them which IP they are calling about, and when they say one, true or not, I say that the account is set up with a security word and they must confirm that before I can talk to them. Lady with a Swedish accent phoned my number asking for my daughter by her full name. I said that is my daughter what is this about? She then went on to ask if we know about the european laws reguarding crypto currency and I realised it was probably a scam and hung up to google the number and found it listed 6 times on a swedish number look up website.

02036109310 SCAM I believe, Claimed to be Edward from virgin media about my firewall protection...was very keen to want to send me something on my mobile. He was momentarily interested in sending it to my laptop until I told him it was a work issued laptop. Told him my phone was not internet connected as I found it to distracting and he hung up without a goodbye.I suspect the thought of a work issued laptop put him off as it would have good security and catch the rogue link he wanted to send me?
