Received a call from 01784279719 on 24/08/2017. Asian sounding male asked to talk about my "Windows" PC. So for fun I asked which one? I m an old nerd and have all between Win 3.1 and Win 10, but I did not tell him that! He says "the one running the Windows operating system". It s obvious he is fishing for info! Repeatedly called from this number which is local to where I live. Answered today to a cheery man calling from Ambassador in relation to an accident I have recently had. I sarcastically asked when this was and he confidently said August 2015 (I, luckily, have had no accidents) When I told him this he sounded confused before cutting the line. Seems to be some call centre calling with fake PPI claims/ Industrial accidents/ worked in a noise environment, they have some database of phone numbers with basic details and then they just try, asking about accidents you have had (should have..) in the past, but it was nonsense in my case. Just a telemarketing... Blocking this number.
