Amazon Prime scam. They say that they are going to charge your bank account for a Prime subscription. Family member put the phone down before they got any further. Suspect that had they been allowed to continued; they would say that they require your bank details to supposedly cancel the subscription.

I believe this number is being used by scam callers. I received a text inviting me to call back, purporting to be from HSBC about a potential fraudulent payment. I would suggest that any recipient ignores any calls or texts from this number. Since it is a premium number any return calls will be outside normal free call packages. HSBC always use free call numbers if they request someone to call back.

I have been spammed with calls from this company. I had 4 calls in the space of 2 hours while I was in a meeting at work. I finally picked up and told them I m not remotely interested in reviewing my pensions as they are handled through my company and to remove me from their database. They persisted in being very pushy and I hung up. 30 minutes later I received another call from the number and I blocked it.

Said they were Mcafee support, handling issue relating to our home "network" which would mean all devices using network (he meant router) would shortly become infected and stop working. Scam National Insurance Scam saying NI number has been compromised. Automated message, no doubt wanting the victim of the call to press one to be connected to scammers. I put the phone down when I heard the message and cut off the call. Having seen resent warnings about this scam, I was already aware of it. Don't act on the call and hang up. Government bodies don't call people in this way. BEWARE. DANGEROUS.

While I was unavailable this number called. Not at first recognising it, I was about to return the call out of courtesy. Then I checked, and realised it was the p.p.i. criminals yet again.
