Was called today at 15:01 by someone stating they were Falcon & Pointer. My number is unlisted plus I signed up for TPS years ago. I am sick to death of these illegal calls.

25 Nov 2021 - Not an 02 or 03 number so are the scammers changing tactics. Couldn’t understand a word chap was saying so put phone down. After reading other comments it would appear to be the scam to white goods insurance cover. I had a similar call a couple of months ago from a guy called Martin (by his accent a long shot on this being his real name) Claiming to be from D&G about renewing insurance cover. Fraud - Automated call supposedly a local number stating "Bank Security" without naming a bank about payments made on credit card. Have has 3 calls exactly the same in the last hour all from different local numbers.

SCAM - Claiming to be Virgin Media. This is the second call we've had in the last few days. When you call them out they start swearing at you down the phone.
SCAM Man called Oliver with Nigerian accent said he was calling from BT about my internet speed. Asked me to go onto my computer and press ctrl and some other buttons together. Didn't even switch the computer on just went along with him and said nothing is happening. He ended up getting very cross and swearing at me think he might have guessed I was stringing him along. Number now blocked.

Got a call from this number claiming to be from my Mobile Phone provider offering an upgrade. As I am on a PAYG tariff (satisfactory for my needs) I politely declined their offer and hung-up. If and when I want or need an upgrade I will decide which Company to approach.

This is a SCAM number: Female voice says HMRC are launching a lawsuit against you and to press one to talk to a case officer. HMRC do not use recorded calls from mobile numbers: they write. These scammers try to get you to pay them. Block it!

Scam loan company. Said i had been approved by them for a £5000 loan. All i had to do was pay the first £105 upfront and the funds would be transferred immediatly. The only was they said they could take the payment was from a ukash voucher. Straight away sent alarm bella ringing. I would advise anyone to ignore this number.

This number sent text saying Royal Mail parcel was waiting for redelivery and that there was £1.99 to pay. There was a link below. I believe this is a scam text trying to get money, we are not expecting a parcel and even if we were, where would they get a mobile number from for someone who hasn't given Royal Mail their number?
