A guy with an Indian accent and poot English spoke but I simply hung up as I have never, ever had any dealings with the RBOS in my entire life so there is no reason for them to call. Have had several cal;ls but I never answer tyjhose that I do not the number of but it is annoying, unsolicited and basically harrassment. I can see why older people get snagged up with these things and end up well out of pocket.This is the type of thing that government should be legislating about and force mobile phine and landline operators to bar numbers from using their networks - reason why they dont? perhaps people in government make money out of it - maybe?
This number, although I blocked it several times after initially speaking to them, keeps calling me non-stop. They wait for a while and call again. I finally got angry at them...

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Called with a thick asian accent claiming to be Janet from Virgin and calling about an issue with the router. They asked me to tell them the colour on the router and then input a web address. I guessed immediately that this was a scam but decided to lead them on a little. After a couple of minutes 'Janet' realised that I knew this was a scam and launched into a tirade of verbal abuse swearing and threatening to come and stab me before then hanging up!

I would just like to inform people about this phone number. They keep ringing me everyday, probably 3 to 4 times a day. I can not block the number, so i just ignore it. It is now getting seriously beyond a joke. It is starting to Depress me and give Angxiety issues. I would just like it to stop. It appears to only be a Italian Take Away based in Crawley. Why? i don't know. Thank you very much.

SCAM. I'm almost certain that calls from this number are a scam. They told me they were from Carphone Warehouse and that my phone was due an upgrade (it's not). When I told them that I had a year left on this contract, they told me they would pay off the rest of my contract and upgrade me to the iPhone 13 for £40 a month. I'm currently paying £50 for the iPhone 11, so this seemed a little too good to be true. When I hung up, they tried to ring me back 5 times in the space of 10 minutes.
